iPhone 16: Speculative Overview

Design

• Display: The iPhone 16 is expected to continue with the trend of large, edge-to-edge OLED displays, possibly around 6.1 inches for the base model and 6.7 inches for the Pro versions. A ProMotion display with 120Hz refresh rate might be standard across all models. The notch could be further minimized, or Apple might move to a punch-hole design or even eliminate the notch entirely with under-display sensors.

• Body: Expect a refined version of the Ceramic Shield front and aerospace-grade aluminum or stainless steel frame. The back may be made of matte glass or a similar durable material. The device could also come in new color options, potentially including matte black and a lighter pastel tone.
